Video conferencing usage 'growing across the world'

A growing number of businesses across the world are embracing video conferencing technology, according to a new study.

The report from Research Now, which is sponsored by Global IP Solutions, found that business professionals across a range of industries are adopting video in an effort to improve collaboration.

  • It revealed that 79 per cent of those that use video rely on consumer applications such as Yahoo, Gmail and AOL, while 21 per cent make use of systems from manufacturers including Cisco and Polycom.
