Mobile working solutions provider launches online community

Mobile working equipment manufacturer Psion has launched a new online community for its developers, partners and customers.

The company's Ingenuity Working platform has been created to bring companies together to discuss their use of its services, as well as encourage open dialogue with a global reseller community.

Psion stated that it will also allow firms to cater for a range of niche markets which development through discussions on the forum.

Mike Doyle, chief technology officer of the company, said: "We will widen the potential applications of our industrial mobile computers, so customers can get what they want and not be restricted to what's already built in.

"Devices will be genuinely fit for purpose, and the cost of ownership of devices will also be dramatically reduced."

Psion recently agreed a deal with BT Global Services which will see the latter resell its products to customers across the UK, Germany and France.
