VIP Access, which will be available in the Japanese market from Nissin Systems, allows firms to conduct remote maintenance work on equipment via the internet.
This means firms are spared increased costs from needing staff to head into an office for upgrades.
Paul Pishal, vice-president of marketing at Lantronix, said: "We see VIP Access as being an emerging technology capability for the growing need to remotely access equipment.
