A new solution designed to allow government employees to enjoy remote working has been launched by CSC.
The company's new Common Access Card-enabled Remote Access Solution (CE-RAS) has been developed to allow staff to access government networks from a computer system in any location.

CSC has stated that the technology, which meets a range of security standards, will allow workers to continue with projects during situations which stop them from reaching the workplace.
James Sheaffer, president of CSC's public sector operations in North America, said: "Telework offers significant benefits to employers and employees, and it presents opportunities to reduce the environmental impact of car travel; however, security is paramount for employers."
Recent figures published by market intelligence firm IDC revealed that nearly 1.2 billion people will have access to flexible working policies by 2013.
